Practical Learning: Using Shortcuts

1- To open the Start menu, press Ctrl + Esc
2- To dismiss it, press Esc
3- Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete
4- What comes on your screen depends (on the operating system you are using). To dismiss it, press Esc
5- If you have any window open, close itPress F1, notice that the Help window for the computer comes up
6- To close the Help file, press Alt + F4
7- To start WordPad, on the Taskbar, click Start. Position the mouse on Programs or All Programs. Position
the mouse on Accessories. Click WordPad
8- While WordPad is displaying, press F1. Notice that, this time, it is the Help window for WordPad that came up
9- To close the Help file, press Alt + F4
10- To close WordPad, press Alt + F4
